Some random thoughts below ...
We know you were a money-making machine, are you still in the business or did you get out completely ? My brother is in the same business, there are always women who seek him out based on the easy cash.
Speaking from personal experience ... As a kid you always want your Mom and Dad together. When you grow up you wished your parents had followed their heart and not stayed together for you and your siblings. I think in the end you owe it to your son to do what makes you happy.
And you ... you're sober and deserve all the credit for that along with God.
Are you as much a handful sober/dry as you were drinking ? What do these women say about the sober you ?
You like your life right now. Do you want to change it to include your ex- and your child full time ? Can you relinquish squiring around hot twenty somethings at SI pool parties ?
If you think you can handle a traditional lifestyle, give it your best shot - you have little to loose, there will be other Asian girlfriends should it not work out.
Conversely, If you still need to cast your seed far and wide , accept who you are and be the best part-time Dad you can.
