Word. This is such a perfect parallel to the Denver Boncos - Kyle Orton & Tebow situation last year. Orton's demeanor on the field told all his confidence was shot and his propensity for crushing turnovers had Bronco fans screaming for his ouster. Tebow showed flashes and helped that team turn it around.
Jet fans are so damn thirsty after seeing Sanchez stagnate the past 2 seasons that a player like McElroy looks like a tall glass of ice water. In a supposed passing league, how will a guy like McElroy thrive when scouts say he can't make all the NFL throws?
Makes more sense to me to see if Tebow has made any progress as a passer.
