Demoting people is what bad organizations and companies do. When you come to the conclusion that someone is not competent at their job and you decide to make a change, you do not keep them in your organization. It is Management 101, even though the guy may have some good qualities, which is why the person was put in the position he was in the first place, you do not keep them in a lesser role. Absolute insanity keeping all these failed GMs in the organization.
Besides, in the last 5 years, where has Tanny showed he was such a great cap guy? People make it seem like this guy knows more about the cap and its rules than anyone else in the league. There is no evidence of this to prove he is such a "cap wizard".
