Jets sign LB Joseph Dickson and WR Titus Ryan to practice squad. Release DL Matt Hardison and WR Eddie McGee from PS.
Dickson sounds likes an ILB..
Titus LeMoyne Ryan (born May 19, 1984 in
Tuscaloosa, Alabama) is a professional
American and Canadian football wide receiver. He was signed by the
Kansas City Chiefs as an
undrafted free agent in 2007. He played
college football at
Concordia College, Selma.
Ryan has also been a member of the
New Orleans Saints,
Carolina Panthers,
Calgary Stampeders, and
Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Speedy Titus Ryan hopes he's on NFL fast track with Cowboys
IRVING - Titus Ryan has changed. The sprinter has become a marathon man.
A football vagabond, Ryan will turn 26 in less than two weeks. The Cowboys are his fourth NFL team, but he has yet to appear in a regular-season game. He took a detour last season, playing with Calgary and Winnipeg in the Canadian Football League.
That was expected. Ryan was a sprint champion at the high school and junior college levels. He previously held the Alabama high school record for 100 meters at 10.44 seconds. According to published reports, Ryan was timed at 4.28 in the 40 during Alabama's pro day in 2007.
