For some reason people and perhaps Rex view this as 'Rex's defense' being held down by the Jets offense and special teams.
Rex is the HEAD COACH. It is Rex's defense, Rex's offense, Rex's QB. Rex Ryan is not some poor Dcoordinator saddled with a crap team he is carrying along though perhaps Rex via his father thinks that way. He is just as responsible for the horrible offense as he is for the decent defense.
