This. I mean, it really comes down to money. If Welker is wanting a final big contract, then I'd have to say no. Doesn't mean I don't think he's a solid slot reciever, but I just don't think a 31 year old wr, who didn't even go over 700 yards until he had Brady throwing to him, is worth it. I'd rather, you know......develop our own young talent?
