You can't exactly say that the offence is keeping its end of the bargain when they can only put up 10 points. You also can't discount the number of turnovers they've had, which puts the defense's back against the wall. But it's a team game and they underachieved all around this year, everyone included. The Titans had the worst offense in the NFL at the time we played them.
Our defense let them go 95 yards in 1 play. Our defense let them go 65 yards on 10 plays right after we took a late lead.
Yet all we talk about is Mark Sanchez throwing picks and fumbling. If the D does its job, Mark Sanchez gets the W. Same for New England. Same for Miami.
