You have to look at it from Seattle's point of view not the jets. It does not make one bit of sense. Carrol "recruited" Flynn to come to Seattle, Carrol likes his skills enough to give him 18 mill over 3 years. What would he tell his owner if he makes this trade? I think asking Sanchez to take a sabbatical is more reasonable that you asking Caroll to play out the above scenario.
