This would be tragic if the team were a win-now entity capable of a 12 win season and an AFC East title. Fact is, we're a 6-10 mess in the middle of a cap disaster and a rebuild that is just about to get started. Doesn't really matter who is the head coach until the ship is righted. If there was a great HC candidate out there that we'd be passing on, that would be detrimental too, but besides the likes of Andy Reid, I don't see anyone out there to go crazy over.

Thats why it was so important to get rid of Tanny. The last thing this team needed was a last ditch effort by a failing regime to mortgage more of the future to finish 8-8.
