If you draft well enough this year and you get rid of enough salary you can round out most of your needs in 2014 with free agency and then go into the 2014 draft and pull a Ditka if you have to and take that franchise quarterback.
Question is will the new GM be focused enough to pull it off. Have to have a vision and the cojones to follow through.
