There was veteran FA talent we were ultimately going to lose -- it wasn't possible to keep the talent level where it was. Outside of the QB position we had one of the most talented rosters in the league in 09-10.

The reality is that in year three, when Sanchez was asked to do more, he fell flat on his face and sucked.

Drafting Sanchez was the biggest single mistake of the Rex/Tanny era. There were many smaller mistakes in player acquisition and roster movement, but if you had to say "what was the biggest single error you'd love to change" it's Sanchez.

Put a veteran QB on the Jets in 09 and we win the Super Bowl.
