It will never happen that corporate, income and wealth taxes will be replaced by a consumption tax. It may be an additional tax but you simply can't expect the power base in this country that was built on the tax code to give it up. It's like getting rid of deductions nice idea but nobody has the balls to mention an actual deduction to get rid of.
