All of you doom and gloomers are ready to jump ship. Oh well.
When the Colts were looking for a GM last year they interviewed big names like Ross, Caldwell etc.
Instead, they went with Grigson, a virtual unknown and a guy who as director of player personnel with the Eagles presumably signed off on a huge contract for Mike Vick.
Yet Grigson, conceding that he had a win/win no brainer choice with the #1 #1 last year, still managed to build a playoff caliber roster from the trash that remained on the Colts team at this time last year.
Moral of the story is....you never really know what you're going to get.
We could land Gamble who turns out to be a dud - or we could land Cohen - who turns out to be a star.
Let's just get a GM in here and hope for the best.
