He got better every year until his 4th year in the league when he began to be considered with Farve, Warner and Manning. He may well have floundered under 75% of the coaching staffs in the league. You make it sound like the pats turned over a rock and manning popped out. He worked with BB, Rehbien, and Weis constantly to get better, when he was the 4th string qb. The pats recognized that talent and worked with it to develop him.
