i'm thinking gamble is the guy and all of the other stuff is misdirection. even though it appears rex has woody's ear he has to know that he can't do it all and he needs to focus on preparing the team for game day. therefore he will need a gm who can focus on getting the players he needs for the team. and the 49ers aren't that far off from what kind of team the jets should be under ryan's defensive schemes.
