The Niners offense has huge talent. Crabtree, Moss, Davis, Gore, James, Hunter (out) great O-line......
Smith was merely adequate at not losing games despite this. You stick him almost anywhere else, he will be awful.
Anybody who feels he can be more than a decent backup is nuts. Smith is AWFUL.
