I think that's the problem, ground and pound is a Rex Ryanism - it otherwise doesn't exist in today's football. A run heavy offense in today's game is still less than 50%. No one else talks about G&P except for Rex.
And I think we are agreeing here - Ryan's G&P was designed as a band aid - it started out to protect a rookie QB, they tried to move away from it and realize they couldn't because of their limitations at QB.
I think the only other team you can put a label of G&P on is the Vikings and that's on account of 1. Having the best RB you and I have ever seen and 2. Having a ****ty QB. Other teams with good running games aren't G&P - they simply have good running games in the context of their entire offense.
