He's very much a pocket passer. He only takes off when it's absolutely necessary. Hell, one could argue that he doesn't take off from the pocket enough given his athletic ability.
I think he's a great fit for the west coast offense.
He's accurate, mobile, and he's a smart kid who makes good decisions.
That's exactly what you need in a QB to run the WCO.

I'd be willing to take a chance on him. Like you said, he's a pocket passer that shows very good accuracy on short throws, but has the arm to really air out the deep ball too. Negatives he is a bit of a statue in the pocket and eats too many sacks, hesitant to take off and run, and sometimes footwork gets bad when he is flustered in the pocket.
Jets have to strongly consider him at #9 if available, but with Chiefs, Cards, and Bills are in great need of QB, hard to see him falling to #9 even if guys like Kiper don't rate him as top 10 on their big boards.
