The birthplace of the modern day division between Islam and Christianity lies right there where you say. Abraham was married, yet his wife could not produce children. She gave her maidservant Hagar to her husband to produce a child.... Ishmael. Later god blessed them and she became pregnant with Isaac.

Being a man of god does not imply kids w one wife. Jesus accepted and blessed all sorts of people. I am sure the prophet Muhammad did this as well. The principles of all of the worlds major religions are much the same..... Forgiveness of sins and accepting those trying to live by gods standards are pretty much the norm.

Wise King Solomon had 1000 wives and was a loyal servant of god. Not saying it's right but it doesn't negate a person being accepted by god.
