This is a problem with NFL players. They get to go to college for free(scholarships), then they want to be set for life from playing a few years in the NFL? How about learning something on that free scholarship and making that your career when you finish playing games.

I dont know what part of "its a business" that you do not get? He is doing a job that so happens to be a game as well. He gets paid to do his job. A job that not many people on this earth can do. Nonetheless, it is a job that is on a bigger scale of you or I. Don't think for a second that top executives don't renegotiate their contracts. It happens all the time. I laugh at your notion to honor your contract. How many times have we seen players released or cut? It works both ways. He is going to get paid for what he is worth.
