You can think you can structure a trade that going to get the Jets fair value back in a trade. You can't as everyone GM knows the situation facing the Jets . No one giving you fair value and paying his ridiculous salary for a player who isn't a Qb.
Jets options are rather limited. sign him now for Qb money. Watch him leave and get a fourth rounder( late third rounder) back in compensation in 2015. Or trade him now and get what you can. Probably a second rounder.
That what the Jets are looking at and it sucks that Jets can't get true value back for a special player. Every general manager knows the situation the Jets are facing. The ball in the Jets front office hands what they will do with Revis.
