Obviously the Jets need to figure out who is playing quarterback and need to acquire more offensive weapons, but with the ninth pick in the draft, there is one thing that this team desperately needs.
At #9 Overall the Jets have to draft a pass rusher. A standup DE/OLB who can pressure the quarterback. All successful 3-4 defenses have a guy like this (example Ware in Dallas, Suggs in Baltimore). I like what we have up front with Wilkerson and Coples. We have no pass rushing threat. That's why I like Jarvis Jones or Mingo at #9 overall.
In the second round the Jets can target an offensive weapon. In the first I think we need an elite pass rusher.
I found this really interesting Big Board from Sportsmasher.com that has intersting information on the top 70 or so players in the 2013 draft, and has them ranked regardless of position. Definitely worth a look.
