I'll just list movies from two actors that are better than most of the choices I've seen so far. Only one of them was mentioned already. I think everyone should be able to figure out who the two actors are. They're in no particular order because they're all great movies.

The Towering Inferno
The Sting (the only one I noticed on anyone's list)
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
The Hustler

All the President's Men
The only other movie on anyone's list with either of those actors had Slapshot as their choice.
