No you don't understand. He is a lockdown corner in an era that heavily favors passing offenses and penalties that prevent dbs from being able to play defense. I guarantee that after the injury his asking price has gone down enough to satisfy you SOJ fans. And the argument that we need that cap space is beyond uninformed. We are in cap hell because we paid scrubs with contracts suitable for probowl talent, not the JAGs that they are. The process has begun to rectify that so step away from the ledge. 31 other teams would LOVE to "overpay" for a CB that is an "insignificant" position. You all act like you know everything yet every offseason scrub corners get top dollar because the position is in DEMAND. A corner that locks down top end receivers week after week is way more important than you guys give credit, you've been spoiled. Cro played awesome this year, but he's still not mentioned anywhere near Revis in terms of play in NFL circles. With Revis we have the best corner tandem in the NFL on a team that wants to blitz. Revis isn't the problem, Revis is part of the solution, accept it and move along.
