As a capitalist you should no full well that demand pushes supply. The more guns that are being produced and on the street makes it much more likely that criminals will have easy access to guns. Keep pushing easy access and demand and gun manufacturers will continue to put weapons out. People get bored and sell them, they die and their estates sell them, they are pawned and sold, straw bought and sold. You can walk into a gun show and buy a gun without a background check.

Actually you are supporting a culture of helplessness. If you choose to set the example of "civility" you are free to do so. The reality is that there are over 300 million guns in circulation. The criminals will always have access to them just like they have access to hard drugs and basically anything else that government tries to ban.
Your statement about gun shows is untrue and repeating it again and again doesn't make it any less untrue. There is a Federal Law against selling handguns to felons and I would support the same for rifles. None of that however will reduce the numbers of guns or the numbers of crimes committed using guns. Frankly I don't believe that your gun hatred has anything to do with reducing gun deaths at all. If you did you would be pushing for longer mandatory sentencing for violent felons.
