Yes, just like Krstic... (would've been a lottery pick if he was eligible last year) That's what smart teams do... if you have a low 1st rounder and aren't enamored by any picks - take a less known Euro with upside and keep him at home to develop... now that's value! it's also a luxury in the NBA, something you can't do in the NFL obviously

Ilic is supposed to be a more athletic, less polished Krstic... all he really needs to be is a solid 7 foot backup (how many teams have one solid 7 footer? we might have three) and he was definitely Portland's GUY
