US Soccer Schedule '08
I'm really looking forward to this year. The US has finally made an effort to schedule so top quality opponents
The U-23 team ahs Olympic Qualifiers in March @ Poland March 26th Then in late May @ England May 28th (Just reported in English papers) @ Spain June 4th Home Vs. Argentina June 8th (Very Tentative - game would be in NorthEast ) The Olympics in August (Which is going to have a lot of the national team on there including Bradley, Alzidore, and Adu) Then the WC Qualifiers shortly thereafter http://blog.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/ It'll nice to see how far the team has come this year. Also as a bonus, next year the US plays in the Confed Cup against champions around the world. For once the US can't use the excuse of not tuning up with hiqh quality opponents from around the world. |
