Priorities: Psn Needs vs BPA - Thoughts?

Idk if i have all of the present roster correct (see list below)?
Jets Draft has 6 picks: 29, 61, 124, 155, 198 and 236.
There is alot of depth in this draft at OT and DL.

Imo the Jets need (not in order of priority):
Offense: RT, WR, (RB If Leon goes, replacement), maybe FB (imo next year!)
Defense: DE, DT, OLB, FS, CB

1) We could take Lav Coles as #3 slot WR (+s = experience, knows system)
Then we have 6 drafts picks and 6 need areas to address

2) Will Patsies cut LB AThomas? (+s = former Raven back w Coach)
Could this still be a possible option or is this completely off the table?

So, if above are the positions of team need, what are the priorities or BPA?
I think #1 DE, #2 FS #3 RT #4 DT #5 OLB #6 CB
Thoughts???

=== Offense ===
OL: LT Ferguson LG Faneca C Mangold RG Moore RT Woody
OL Backups: OT Hunter G Slauson C/G Turner

TEs Keller Hartsock Mulligan

WR: Edwards Cotchery Smith Clowney Woodhead

RB: Greene Tomlinson LWashington CWashington

FB: Richardson

QB: Sanchez Clemens Ainge O'Connell

=== Defense ===
DE: Ellis Pitoitua Devito

DT: Jenkins Pouha Green

LB: Pace Harris Scott Thomas
Gholston Murrell Cummings Fowler Westerman Laury

LCB: Revis Lowery Cole

RCB: Cromartie Coleman

SS: Leonhard Ihedigbo

FS: Poole Smith

I think we go WR in second round. Maybe trade up in the second if we fall in love with someone there.

In the first we go DE.

As much as I liked Coles in his time here, I'd prefer not to go that route. I think he's over the hill and if we go that route and decide not to address WR in this draft, then it will just have to be addressed in next years draft. I'm with the last poster. I hope we address DE and WR with our first two picks.

I think our D line can hold fine for one more year and instead we should focus on an edge rusher in the first. We are very much lacking a pass rush. INTs go up, more FFs. Pass rush sends this Defense into elite mode IMhumbleO.

Why not OLB 1st DE 2nd?

Combine 4th and 5th for a WR in the 3rd or stay put and target a Slot guy in the 4th and a RB in the 5th?

6th FB iowas or connor
7th punter or KR

agree they go Wr somewhere in round 1 or 2

the defense was #1 in the league

the passing offense was #31

WR is a much bigger need than most realize

Note that I am NOT saying you are stupid.
Tanny will not draft using BPA, he will draft to fill our specific position needs.

I agree with Baddniss for once

The truth is, that pure BPA isn't really a much better strategy then drafting for need. If Jimmy Clausen is the best player on the board (Like it was in the JI Group Mock), we still shouldn't take him, because it'd be retarded to spend our 1st round pick on something that isn't a need now or anytime in the near future.

The goal should be combining the two, to get the best player in a position of need. Obviously that's easier said then done though.

The guy Clausen was throwing to was a better pick than him.

Jeebus.

I'm starting to hate you
