FAVORITE ALBUM COVERS

As the search function is currently disabled, I'm not sure if we've done this before. Anyway, please share some of your most loved album art.

Always dug the understated insanity of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

Roger Dean has many classic record covers in the 70s, here are two of my favorites:

Classic. Great thought, my friend. here it is. Since it's art, I assume the nudity is okay. Looks like a guy, anyway.

I've always liked that album cover myself. I actually own the vinyl album.

Of course it would be silly not to mention the Sgt. Pepper album cover

My son loves Elton John and when I got the Mr. Fantastic album, he stared at the cover for days:

Lastly, this Van Halen one I saw at an art show of album covers and really liked:

Perfection in its simplicity. Totally captured the Allmans and the era.

LOL. Seriously, I don't see the difference in posting album art or a nude painting from a recognized fine arts master.

These T-Rex albums really captured Bolan and his influence as the "father of glam rock".

Brilliant choice, Timmy.

I loved Roxy Music, especially the album covers for obvious reasons. The mermaid in the second one--and apropos of Timmy's posting--is Mick Jagger's former squeeze, Jerry Hall. She was Bryan Ferry's gal pal at the time. Whatever happened to Ferry? He was great.
Ummm Mr. Bowie may have a problem with statement.
It was Bowie who called Marc this. Bowie and Bolan were friends who, as dead broke aspiring rock wannabees, would rip off clothes from Saville Row dumpsters from which to make their stage outfits. Bowie looked up to Bolan for his fashion sense and visionary (glam) approach to rock performance.

Classic Bowie cover:
