Hey Dustin.. APOLOGIZE!
Listen, we could all name over 100 reasons why the Jets lost to the Ravens Monday night.. but, ultimately, the Jets were still in it with a minute to in the game. Dustin Keller heard footsteps, didn't even catch the ball before contact (don't even get me started on how soft that makes him), he gets lit up by Ray Lewis, leaves his brains spilt over the field, and then goes woopsie, didn't know where to go after making the last catch.
The amount of space that was in front of him was unbelievable, he could have gained an extra 5 yards easily if he knew what he was doing. For a game to end on pure stupidity like that is very embarrassing and he should apologize to the fans for us thinking he's a valuable receiver. Shonn Greene came out and apologized for his poor play- i don't blame the game on Shonn Greene.. he did mess up, but the game came down to that last drive, all the Jets needed was to get in FG range, and Keller blew it. APOLOGIZE! Apologize for the trade up for you, apologize for being scared going over the middle, apologize for that horrendous attempt of thinking you're a superstar with that "81 things i can do better than you" garbage, btw is making a god damn block on that list of things you do better? apologize for taking the Jets last chance of winning that game and pissing it away 1 yard shy of the 1st down marker. you suck, now apologize. |

Momentum carried him out. He had no time to stop. Give Sanchize a piece of the blame. It was a big play but there were many other missed opportunities. I don't need an apology, just a TD or 2 vs NE will make ammends.

b/c it's equated with an admission of wrongdoing. and a non-apology is equated by some to mean that the player did nothing wrong. |

i understand the momentum theory, but every time i look at it he secures the ball pretty quickly and eased on the breaks right away.. he had plenty of time to just stick the ball out, there wasn't any purple jerseys near him.. a decent receiver makes it out of bounds with the 1st down. yes the throw wasn't the best, it could have came a second earlier, but i find it very hard to believe that a pro receiver couldn't have turned upfield on that.. we're talking about ONE YARD. |

Your a moron, he was running full speed, would you rather he tear both acl's trying to change momentum on a dime? Your clearly a moron and have no idea what it means to play athletics at any level. You can fault him for not running a 10 yard out route instead of a 9 yard one, on that we can all agree. And besides he played hard all game even after getting blasted by "Murder in the first"

I would not be surprised if he was slightly concussed after the Ray Lewis hit. I believe he said that he saw where the marker was being held and not where the strip was on the ground. That's the exact kind of thing that happens when you are playing in a fog.

haha, w/e u say buddy i was only quarterback for ASU if u look at the play, he is NOT at full speed at all and he tips his way out of bounds.. if u have time to slow up, u have time to side step.. we're talking about ONE YARD. a decent receiver knows where to go and where to be, keller did not do his job on that route. |

Yes. A decent receiver, in this instance a TE, saw movement on the sidelines by a "Down Marker Holder Guy" while using the eyes in the back of his head to see where the 11 guys in Ravens uniforms chasing him are. We're talking about ONE YARD. You're right. Let's cut him immediately and start Jeff Cumberland in his place. |

Keller messed up on that big-time. Cotchery did when he dropped that pass. Slauson when he missed that block. D'Brick when he got those two penalties. Cromartie when he blatantly interfered with the receiver some of the plays. Sanchez missed a few passes.
Plenty of blame to go around for that loss. |

He did have a nice catch with 2 defenders on him at the 3 yard line that was called back.

Dustin Keller is another product of New York Jets and media hype. He is not a great tight end.

not sure if he actually apologized "I'm sorry Jets Fans" about it on Tuesday on SNY Jets Extra Point but he did talk about it and basically said that it was his mistake and took all responsibility for it.
