The biggest positive of week 1
to help appease the bright side of the force.
I think by far the biggest positive in this game was Rex Ryan. He has been adamant about the ground and pound mentality. But it just wasn't working last night. Rob was ready for the run. And two years ago, Rex would have kept running to make a point. But the team abandoned that philosophy, and started picking on the Dallas weakness last night: VERY green Cb's. I don't think the Jets would have won this game two years ago. I think after the change in philosophy in the New England playoff game has helped Rex turn a corner as a coach. This, I think by far, was the brightest spot of the game last night. Now...your turn. |

I would have to say Darrell Revis. He's amazing. The most amazing talents in the NFL that play WR are lucky there is only one Revis!

I thought our pass rush was very good at times. Pace showed well. Romo is very elusive so we didn't always get the results. Not every QB we face will be as elusive as Romo, including Mr. Brady

As part of the new CBA, each player on a roster this weekend will have the option of NFL healthcare for life.

I think the exact opposite. I think the biggest negative of the game was that we did not run enough.
Getting pass crazy was not the reason we won. We won because of a great special teams play and Romo handing us the game on a silver platter. But us becoming pass happy was not the reason we won. Its the reason we should have lost. |
