How hard is it to avoid such an easy conflict of interest in the biggest media market in the country? They're only hurting themselves...

I was just going to post something in the other threads. I don't get it. It makes absolutely no sense to me. It hurts the fans and it hurts the ratings.

Two professional leagues cannot revolve around one city. It sucks, but I am not sure if there is much they can do.

And Bettman is the best commissioner of all the major sports. He just needs to fire Shanahan, who has become a complete joke.

No need to revolve around New York -- they should just be taking each other into account during scheduling.

I mean, they already do when you consider how many NBA and NHL teams share arenas -- it seems counterproductive for either league to want to alienate fans, IMO.
