Summertime is here--time for grilled shrimp
Made this for my 2 sopnes tonite
This is a variation of Bobby Flay's Grilled and Sauteed Shrimp Here's the prep--2 lbs of 16-20 count deveined and shelled shrimp, shallots, butter, fresh squeezed lemon juice, hot sauce, cracked salt and pepper, fresh thyme, fresh Italian parsely, extra virgin olive oil [IMG]http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk142/jstokes719/Shrimp_Prep.jpg[/IMG] Toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt and pepper [IMG]http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk142/jstokes719/Shrimp_oil.jpg[/IMG] Put the pan on the grill a few minutes before the shrimp and saute the butter, shallots and thyme--cover pan and close grill [IMG]http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk142/jstokes719/Shrimp_Prep_grill.jpg[/IMG] Spread the shrimp on the grill in an even layer and grill 20-30 seconds each side--do not cook through. Introduce the shrimp to the saute pan for a few more minutes to cook the shrimp through then add the fresh parsley, and incorporate all the flavors

They look phenominal and delicious. WOW
Have you considered using a grilling basket. You dont have to worry about the shrimp falling through the grate. Nice job! |

Grill baskets should be used for grilling vegetables and nothing else. Furthermore, anyone who buys a fish or corn basket wasted their money.
