A guy jumps off a plane, goes straight to VOLUNTARY workouts and doesn't feel that he's physically able to go at the same rate as those who are in their 2nd week of camp.
May have tweeked a hammy, but who cares?
Jane McManus @janesports Ryan notes the Jets have seen hammy issues at wideout, noted that Santonio was a little limted. #Jets
Shocking, hang him by his thumbs. He's a cancer, etc. Imagine this would be even better if he actually left OTAs like the titles says he did. Last edited by Jet Nut; 06-07-2012 at 03:32 PM. |

Holmes is not conditioned for as many reps as they planned on him getting.
Why does Cimini try to make issues out of non issues. Tone needs to punch him in the face. |

I'd think the urine sample would reveal that. Dude is tested frequently and THC stays in system for 30 days and is nearly impossible to mask. Must be something else, right Sparky? |
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- A disgusted Santonio Holmes, who missed a handful of voluntary practice sessions while out of the country on a USO-sponsored trip to a U.S. Air Force base in Germany, pulled himself out of practice Thursday because he felt he was unfairly overworked by coaches.
The New York Jets' top wide receiver staged a mini-meltdown near the end of the two-hour workout, limping off the field and tossing his helmet. He exchanged words with receivers coach Sanjay Lal, also drawing immediate attention from the trainer. Afterward, Holmes insisted he wasn't injured, but he was clearly bothered that the coaches wanted to give him a full workload despite his time away.
Its not just Cimini. Its YOUR $50MM CANCER showing his true colors. Why aren't Jet fans NOT upset that your "star" receiver, one of the leaders of your team, comes to OTA's and is not in good enough shape to go through a shorts that Tshirt practice???? And THEN disrespects his coach for having the temerity to expect him to be in good enough shape to go through a shorts and T-shirt workout. What was Sanjay Lal thinking. This is what happens when you give a selfish jerk a FU contract. He doesn't have to answer to ANYONE in your organization. You can't trade him. You can't cut him, and you can't sit him. All you can do is put up with him. This isn't media hype, this is SOP for your $50MM WR. The only way he's going to be happy is if he is the focus of your passing game. Wins or losses don't mean a thing. Its all about Santonio. Jet fans better get used to the "santonio ratio". |
