Bird/Early Bird case
Players won the ruling, huge for the Knicks. Means they can offer Lin, Novak, and Fields more than any other team and still have the mid-level exception. C'mon Nash (I now, super longshot).

NBA and David Stern are appealing the ruling. They know they won't win they just want to keep Lin and the Knicks in limbo and unable to sign players for several days after free agency starts on July 1. Seriously, David Stern is such a hater of the Knicks organization it's ridiculous he has nothing to gain from this garbage except whatever stupid grudge he has against the Dolans.
Jeremy Lin becoming a star in New York City is one of the best things to happen to the NBA in years. Stern is a stupid arsehole who has a pipe up his ass about the Dolans. F him. Go fix the lottery for the Hornets the next 5 years. Exactly what the NBA needs Anthony Davis playing in front of 9,000 people per night in the Bayou. Good job Stern. |
