8/25 Jets Waive 7

The New York Jets have waived G Terrence Campbell, LS Derek Chard, DT Matt Hardison, WR Dexter Jackson, CB LeQuan Lewis, S Marcus Lott and WR Raymond Webber. The announcements were made by general ganager Mike Tannenbaum. Currently, the Jets roster stands at 80.

If you're a WR hopeful and you're getting waived by the Jets this week, you should probably take that as a bad sign for your NFL dreams. Not trying to be mean here, but damn...if there was ever an opportunity for a bubble player to step up...

the sad thing about that is one of these guys will get a second chance with some other team and they will put up some good numbers. it kinda happens like that a lot i think.

No shocker Campbell was the 1st to go. Even for a 3rd string OL he was owned bad.
