T.O. no longer in Seattle

Adam Schefter
T.O. tweeted this: "I'm no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I'm truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver."

And this pretty much solidifies Braylon as a SeaHawk. Good Luck to him in a very winnable division.

Fairness to Tanny on this one... Braylon priced himself out of the market last year.

THEN when the market wouldn't pay him...he couldnt come back.

Perhaps bad blood ...but last year was Braylons fault.

I don't get the bad blood theory.

Edwards said as recently as this past January that he would welcome a return to the Jets.

So what bad blood would the Jets have? His DUI? The one he had BEFORE the 2010 season when they were glad to have him on the team that season being their best WR and helping them get to the AFCCG?

Upset because Edwards wanted to get paid? What athlete doesn't?

I don't get the hate.

That's the point.

The Jets didn't want him and that's all you need to know.

If the imagined "chemistry" was there, if Sanchez felt Bray was necessary for the team's success, don't you think he would've lobbied for Bray and won?

Give it up.

I don't get the impression Sanchez has any say.

I think this is a case of extreme stubborness on the part of the FO, or maybe more so, the owner.

Sanchez will likely be battered and bruised this year and may not survive. Literally.

Sanchez absolutely does not have say, he is weak. If he had anything to say you'd think he would have lobbied for some protection. as it is your last sentence will prove prophetic.

It's becoming clear that the Jets FO/ownership is just plain stupid and willing to cut their nose to spite their face.

C'mon, Rex is the most approachable HC out there.

If Mark really wanted Bray he would've gone through Rex. Simple as that.

Woody wants to win. I doubt he cares which players get it done.

He trusts Rex to determine and communicate the team's needs.

No bad blood, just bad move on Tanny not even trying to sign him. One in the many poor choices he has made. More bad move than good ones lately.

Braylon Edwards is a split-end. If he was brought in, it would be to play opposite of Holmes--The job the Jets want Stephen Hill to win.

I don't think there is any bad blood between Edwards and the Jets or vice-versa. It's just a case of wanting to maximize the playing time of a very talented rookie.

They're not cutting Braylon. Did you see the catch he made in the 1st quarter against the Chiefs?

Deep ball down the right sideline, goes over the CB and hauls it in. Nice throw and great catch. Braylon's healthy again and he'll be a good receiver for the Seahawks.

Braylon should have been brought in during the offseason to give Hill time to develop.
