Hillis and Boldin for S Johnson and Gerhart Trade?

I get S Johnson and Gerhart.

Right now Hillis and Boldin are on my bench. S Johnson and Gerhart would also be on my bench.

I'm actually leaning toward making this trade.

What say you?

Bench: Flacco, Hillis, Boldin, LaFell, Mike Goodson, LaGerrette Blount

Id feel much more comfortable with steve J filling in for harvin or marshall than boldin who is rapidly declining and I believe will have even a lesser year due to the development of their TES. Nice rb set though...I have the same thing in my 12 team auction league.

exactly...i have 3 starting RB's one occupying the flex...if one of my RB's goes down Doug Martin moves to RB2 and I have 2/3 of my starting RBs handcuffed...

I'm trying to sell Boldin for that exact reason and find SJ to be more valuable to my roster. Plus Gerhart while he occupies nothing but space could turn out to be something if AP goes down.

theres a nagging thing in the back of my mind that says trading hillis for gerhart is going to **** me...thats the only thing holding me back.

but im struggling to not make a trade bc of a fear that 2/3 of my starting RB's go down...because reality is hillis is never cracking my lineup unless something crazy happens. and if something that crazy happens, hillis isnt going to save me.

Im not sold on hillis having a big year... he is compliment piece that will get his goaline touches and that's about it. Steve J would be a better flex than him all year long.

he would....and i really am not going to put hillis in my lineup barring catasrophe...and really if it comes to that i'm looking to make other trades anyway.

plus seeing their 3rd RB take some goal line carries really raised a flag in my head.

the more i think about it, I'm actually OK with not making this trade, and I'm happy I didnt jump to pull the trigger. My efforts are better served upgrading my TE.
