the problem is that the jets will spin this as a validation of buttchez, ignoring the fact that the jags as well as the rest of the jets schedule is easier than a times square hooker.

Why? It's the truth.

Rex and Tanny will sell Woody on the injuries as to why this team didn't contend this year.

And we'll be subjected to once again witness another year of Sanchez behind center orchestrating a Sparano lead offense with Rex's goofy ass talking "Superbowl".

I'm not one to defend people who start useless threads with an thought that can just be posted into the game day thread but he's right. This game is another disaster that once again proves how awful mark is. It's pathetic to know that the tub of lard is going to get up and probably spew his usual nonsense about how he thought mark threw the ball well today and he definitely gives us the best chance to win. Sanchez did absolutely nothing today other than fumble once and off. Even Tebow could have won today with the run game playing like this.

How is it a "nightmare"?

We're on pace to a forgettable, but respectable, 8-8 season. Not a winner, but not a loser either. The Jets have been far from the dregs of the NFL for years now, consistently good or at worst average. Thats better, in most ways, than going 4-12 would have been.

If you're upset about draft picks or Rex coming back, don't bother. Picks are a crapshoot (remember where we got Revis, and where we got Ghost, for example) and Rex was coming back (with Sanchez) for at least 2013 regardless. A loss today wasn't changing that.

It's a pretty rough day when one feels the need to root against their own team. I've never quite understood it. What the root-against fan usually wants isn't realistic or happening anyway most times, or is at-bets a desire to trade average for unknown, and unknown is often, wait for it, average or worse too.

When you consider how you choose to feel about today, try to understand: Rex wasn't going to be fired, and neither was Sanchez. So why be mad?

This guy gets it.

Not only did we win a game poorly - but we squandered an opportunity to give others guys (QBs) a chance to play a winnable game

Enough already. You hate Sanchez, and don't care for Rex much. I am not a fan of Sanchez either and have my questions about Rex as well. Sanchez was going to be here next year regardless, and likely as the starter, and these late season wins aren't changing that. Regardless of what I think of Rex, I don't think he's dumb enough to not realize the holes on the team regardless of the record at the end of the season.

You might as well try and enjoy the last 3 weeks of the season and worry about next year, next year. The franchise is not set back any further than it was before.

McElroy is nothing, he's not going to be a franchise QB.

I love when people say "set back the franchise for yours." In the NFL, everything changes every year.

Every win is a loss at this point for the betterment of this franchise.

Is that what they're saying?

Oh, and by the way, Sanchez is our franchise quarterback.

It says so right on his paycheck.

And you know what? What paycheck is going to him next year too...Sanchez is here this year and next year. Whine and cry about it all you want but that's the truth.

We won, enjoy it.

If McElroy is nothing, then Sanchez and Tebow are less than "nothing".

McElroy is eons better as a QB than those two morons.
