JaMarcus Russell making a comeback?

Quote:
According to Yahoo! Sports’ Kristian Dyer, Russell is planning to attempt an NFL comeback.

The former Oakland Raiders quarterback reportedly plans to work out with TEST Football Academy the next few months in hopes of getting another shot in the NFL. Russell is down to 308 from 320 pounds thanks to some cardiovascular training. He’s hoping to lose even more weight as he attempts a comeback (he was listed at 265 pounds when he played).

Best Mobile-based news of the week: JaMarcus Russell is making a comeback! No lie. At 305 lbs now, hoping for 265. May make a Combine cameo

The JaMarcus Russell Story: Per @RapSheet, he now weighs 305 pounds ... And that is GOOD news.

FYI: My JaMarcus Russell tweet was not a joke. He really is attempting a comeback. Hear he's serious this time at a real gym. We'll see.

lol so I guess he's all out of money and needs more sizurp.

I'm pretty confident in saying there is no NFL team who will give him a chance, especially with his fat ass sitting at 300+

I have no sympathy for idiots like this who squander their talent and opportunity. He does not deserve a 2nd chance.

I disagree, there will be some team out there who takes a flyer on him and invites him to TC.

Because they have absolutely nothing to lose.

Sign him to a conditional (make the final roster or you don't see a dime) contract and see what he can do.

Yeah. This is probably Maurice Clarett type of situation where he will get someone to kick the tires and eventually kick him to the curb.

He would bankrupt the team trying to feed him in just 2 weeks of camp..
