Jamie Collins is a first/second round talent

Patton >>>>>>> Hopkins

Warmack at 9 is yuck.

Other than that, really good job.

You grossly under value Hopkins.

I figured I would play out both options to see what unfolds. I prefer taking a big-time pass rusher with the first pick, if were up to me. I'm troubled by Warmack's 40, which means he won't be helping out up field unless he's carried there in a wheelbarrow. Overall, I feel we should lean slightly toward offense this year (at least 4 picks out of 7). Can't fill every hole, that's for sure.

Collins may indeed go earlier, but it's not such a stretch to see him go at 72. Until Mayock's re-eval after the combine, Collins wasn't such a hot commodity. But we could reverse and go with Collins in the second round and a receiver in the third (Justin Hunter/ Aaron Dobson?).

As much as I i hate the way this sounds, the Jets are not going to draft 2 guards in any rounds of this draft. Vlads is going to get a chance as well as Slaughterboy, or someone will be signed. Spening 2 picks on guards is a waste.

The Jets' history has always been to draft a guard late and hope for the best. I wouldn't be surprised if they do that this year. They've got two holes potentially to fill and very little depth. Of course, this is my draft, not the Jets' so if it was me, I'd bring in the heavy offensive meat on the hoof and give myself some flexibility. I think the Warmack plan may be scuttled simply because the Jets don't want to invest so many first round picks on their OL.

On a side note, I saw that Jeremiah's draft had Justin Hunter going in the first round! Who knows how to rank these guys... from one "expert" to another there's a lot of variability, which may be a sign of some parity in the class.

Warmack yuck? You don't want a run game for the next 10 years?
