I start 1 QB a week and I'm in need of WR badly.

I have Aaron Brooks, Chad Pennington, and David Carr

I have 2 trades offered as of now.

Chad Pennington for Joe Horn

or

David Carr for Steve Smith


I'm almost positive I'm going with Steve Smith but just looking for a 2nd opinion.

Flip a coin. Carr has a ton of offensive weapons this year too and might make some real noise. Pretty tough decision to make in all honesty. Depending on your starting WRs I might look into trading Brooks for a lesser WR and just use him in emergency situations.

carr for smith is a no brainer!!

do it asap.

definitely Carr for smith. Smith is going to have a huge year I believe and you know Penny is going to be a stud with the M&M boys. David Carr is good but I don't think he's going to be putting up those great #s you need for FF. so go with Smith.

If you absolutely want to make either trade Id say do the Carr for Smith without hesitation. I think having Pennington and Brooks as a backup or vice versa is a bigtime advantage. Smith is better than Horn at this stage and you're giving up a lesser fantasy talent in Carr.

Question, what are your WRs currently?

Also, some sleepers Id recommend:

David Terrell
Andre Davis
Reggie Williams

Most of those guys are available in my 12 yahoo leagues Yes, 12...Im addicted and a bit bored while doing my job search since I graduated college :lol:

I see the two wideouts as vitual equals, yet Chad will put up better numbers. Do the Carr for Smith deal.

You must have good RB's because (even with Smith) those wideouts are below par. That Carr for Smith trade was vital.

Smith for Carr is the no-brainer, I certainly hope the rest of your team looks better!

With a 10 person league its pretty hard to grab a top tier WR before RB and QB.

My RB's are LT, Dom Davis, Thomas Jones and Chris Brown.

I'd try an package the two Jones or Dom and Chris Brown and try to get another 15 level back. You only need three good ones and you have 4. You have great depth there, but I would take the chance and try to turn it into an upgrade. There has to be a guy in your league thinking about goign with three wideouts because he lacks a second good back. Hit him up.
