How about actually answering the question in the thread. You would like to do anything but actually keep on topic. You are %100 BS and ZERO answers. Keep it up.

By strengthening Iran, one of the so called "axis of evil" and a sworn enemy of the USA. Our actions in Iraq removed one of Iran's enemies, a buffer from the rest of the ME and replaced him with a Shia govt that sees Iran as a friend and ally. This has stretched out Tehran's scope of influence and gave it an oil rich ally. As far as your perspective on attacks and our enemies, being attacked on your way to work hardly gives you any more insight than anyone else. |

I worked at the WTC, and was there, so I definitely know/can verify things about the buildings, the details of the 9-11 attacks, the exact time, that people out in the boondocks of LI and in the jungles of Tennessee dont. So take your hallucinogenic Truther notions and shove 'em, OK? Next, lets add some logic to the discussion shall we? If America remove an direct enemy of itself, its for America's benefit primarily- if the ROW / Iraq's enemies benefit that is not of primary concern to us Iraq and Iran cant be enemies of each other and of America at the same time? By taking out Iraq, we automagically made Iran stronger? By that stellar logic we made SA, Kuwait, the "gas station" emirates, and Israel stronger too. The US now is present to make sure everything that is is supposed to, primarily oil tankers, enters and exits the Persian Gulf without incident. The US also now surrounds Iran with a military presence. Yeah thats I call weakening yourself. |

Come on, Winston. What "outcome" was possible besides this? Honestly. |

Honestly.
The idea that with a new start, a chance at self government that people would put aside their differences, build a nation and live in peace. WTF was I thinking. |

See the recent sweetheart oil deals they have made. See where Maliki calls Iran "Good , a great neighbor and friend". Now explain again how it is that Iraq can be an ally of Iran (which clearly it is) and still stand with us side by side in the WOT??? |
if you cant add 1 + 1 to make 2
thats your problem, not mine
Thats because you are trying to convince everyone that 1+1 = 4. Your argument that the Iraqi govt had a role in the first WTC bombing is simply false. Not one iota of truth behind it. |

I recognize that line of thinking as my own. I was probably talking to myself in the above post. |

Flushing Jet, I did not know you were at the towers that day. Sorry to hear that, and I wish you the best in recovering from such an ordeal.
I have a question, that is sincere: Do you think that because you were there at the towers, your judgement is clouded? I mean, lets say it was me saying this, and you were in my shoes looking at this war. Do you think your opinion would be different, or do you think it would be the same, just less emotional? |

Looking in from the outside usually leads to more objective and less emotional viewpoints and conclusions. JMO |

A very traumatic event like that can skew an opinion...Do you think it is possible that there are some Jewish people to this day that hate all Germans because of the war? Many women suffer from anger and rage towards all men after being raped... I was affected by what happened at 9/11, but NOT to the degree someone who was actually there. I am affected when I hear about some who loses a loved one in a drunk driving accident, but NOT to the degree of the actual family. |
