I've beaten GHIII on Easy, and am halfway through on Medium (haven't played for weeks). My 15 year old and 9 year old have beaten Medium. My 13 year old isn't very good at it, and doesn't like to look bad with his brothers.
I'm REALLY looking forward to being able to buy a second controller so they (we) can play co-op and head-to-head. |
Damn, unless you are a real drummer that looks impossible.
My 9 year old is a GH addict. I've tried it a few times and it's very addictive.
I'm not a drummer, but I've been able to start playign at hard. Its just a matter of hand eye foot coordination. This game is hands down the best group game ever. You can get 2 guitars, 1 drummer and 1 singer. Very fun. You get some beers and some friends to get together and it makes for a very fun night. All we need is some groupies and drugs and I feel like a rock star. You play as a team versus againts each other so its really fun. |

I'm about 30 songs into HARD. I'm currently stuck on Cherub Rock by Smashing Pumpkins...
I also 5-starred all songs on MEDIUM so once I beat HARD (if I ever ever do), my next target will be to 5 star all HARD songs! |

Rock Band adds a lot more IMO with the drums and the microphone, only problem is the bass guitar is not available to buy until March.

I've had the game less than two weeks, already 5 starred all the easy songs and I'm about 3/4 of the way through the medium difficulty. The game's a blast.

I may be the worst GH player on the planet. I can't even hit two notes at the same time. It's pretty pathetic.

Seems im still the biggest loser here...Expert level...5 stared everything except raining blood... 6k away!!!!! I was literally a few hundred points away from 4 starring fire and flames. If you think thats hard, d/l all the guitar battles...it includes the full version of devil went down to georgia which i can only 3 star=[
i have a video of me here when i first got tapping the intro to TTFAF. its old and sucks, but enjoy! [URL=" |

Guitar Hero is worth 100 threads. lol
Seriously though, I can 5 star pretty much ever Medium Song except Through the Fire and Flames (Including Raining Blood). But I'm just beginning to get into the hard songs and am finding them difficult, although I can pass probably 75% of them they're all 3 star rather mediocre rock and im finding myself having trouble moving up and down the control. |

I've seen a lot of custom guitar hero stuff on you tube. They come with note charts.
Any drummer with basic skills would find that easy.
i'm a guitar player, but i can play the drums pretty decent, and i tried rock band for the first time 2 weeks ago and i was able to keep up on the hard level after a few tries. it's definitely the most realistic of the instruments. |
