I'm very sorry to hear this news. May God Bless him and everyone that has ever known or loved him I'm sorry to hear about this loss.

We tend to focus on losing alot here but there's no greater loss than losing someone who means so much to you.

This is so sad....i had many good talks with Pete about football and about life...

He was very supportive when i was going thru my "problem".....He always had kind words of support...

This man was passionate about life & about his NY Jets.....This is truly a sad day.

Im absolutly floored. :(

i never got to meet or talk to him since i only have been here since november but im sure we would of gotten along well. My condolences to his family .

I'm going to miss Pete. Regardless of my Avatar, I agreed with Pete that Pennington was the next best thing. I remember when he first posted that pic, he said he wanted us to meet his Brother! :lol: In that same thread, Petey and I coined one of his often used phrases to describe Chad- "The Great One".
I remember how proud he was of being a police officer, and we had some discussions about trade, I'm not an officer, I'm a Firefighter-Paramedic,and we were both public servants with one common goal.
God Bless you and your family, Pete. Rest in peace, and we'll see you again someday.

Although I never had the chance to meet GreenPetey, I'm sure he was just like most of us. Truly nice, genuine people who have many passions in their life, one of which is the New York Jets. I'm sure Green lead a fulfilling, great life, one which was taken much too early. My condolences to him and his family.

[color=green][b]It is with a sad soulful regret that we have lost a great poster in GreenPetey. Last year we E-mailed each other twice about draft information.

The man knew his JETS & he will truly be missed by both myself & anyone who ever made contact with him. I can only hope that his passing was calm & without pain.

Pete, you've begun the greatest journey that all of us will someday - the journey into the next dimention. I can only hope that Coach Ewbank was there to meet you at the gate!
