well unless Obama steals the election, 2000 will go down in history just like 1876 and 2008 will not

Great point. The only thing is, I think people know full well Obama will raise taxes and they are scared of how that will effect their wallets.

Ordinarily, I'd say you are so very right - and you may still very well be - but I think this has a chance to be a very atypical election.

I truly believe if either party had a truly strong candidate, they would blow the other away.
