interesting point of where obama was born. i'm not sure of the actual requirements on where one was born. i know the reason why it was put into the mix was to keep alexander hamilton, born in jamaica, from being president. so they excluded those not born in the us or colonies. i'm not sure if this has any bearing on mccain. the question would be if the canal zone was considered a territory in 1936. i know they had the same right as us citizens and people bron there are us citizens but i don't know if they had any representation.

obama is a whole different case. if he was born in hawaii then so be it, no issue but there is a limited paper trail that suggests that he may have been born in kenya or was not even a us citizen by birth. there is also a report that he listed indonesian as his citizenship when he entered the country to go to school. the whole point is why hid your credentials if they are factually correct? it's the same type of game these people play with their tax returns, etc but the big difference is that tax returns can't disqualify one from being prez. i find his and the dnc's whole stance on this issue to be arrogant and just snubbing the american people's right to know.
