The cons don't post here anymore because they are fakes. The party of big giant tough guy Joe the Plumbers can't take a little ribbing from a few overly jubilant Obama supporters? I mean seriously...how many posters here are truly extreme leftists? They are usually the ones that just post a sentence or two of some insane BS that even gets ridiculed by some of the more intelligent "liberals" here. I can't believe that a thread like this even exists. Treatment of Bush a disgrace? The only disgrace is what that fool and his administration did to this country. 4100 soldiers dead, 100,00 + Iraqi civilians dead because of a war based on lies. A crippled economy. Basic freedoms and privacy taken away. No response to a major hurricane. No effort to find Bin Laden. I can go on and on and on. Just a quick comment: There is a difference between being racist and being racially insensitive. There are obviously a lot of racially insensitive people on this board, but few racists.

If you want to think his race played a significant part of him getting nominated and elected, then I would argue that it was the fact that he is half-white that turned the tide in his favor, not that he is half-black. He is both white and black, in a way it's common ground.
