Who will win this year's Golden Ball Award?
I think it comes down to these three:
C Ronaldo L Messi F Torres I'd vote for Ronaldo. He won everything last year with MU + most goals scored in the CL (I think), voted best player in Premiership. The only tarnish is the Euro where he bombed along with the rest of the Portugese team. |

I think it'll be Torres, personally. Probably because I hate Ronaldo.

Torres damn near won the Euro by himself. And at the end of the season, after winning the CL and the Premiership, Ronaldo was still *****ing about wanting a transfer.

Anyway, Ronaldo is a lock. His domestic season alone makes him a lock. He may be a whiny prick waiting to jump to Madrid but he is phenomanal. |

Ronaldo got the Golden Ball with an almost unanimous decision.

Its gotta be Ronaldo. Man U wont he Premiership and the Champ League. Messi's Barca finished 3rd in the La Liga and lost to Man U in the semis of the Champion's League. Ronaldo scared the living hell out of opposing defenses, scored a ton of goals in the Premiership and CL. The "big game flop" tag is bull he scored a gorgeous header in the CL Final against Chelsea. Although his missed penalties in the CL Final and Semis could hurt his chances, I still think he deserves it.

He’s a funny little dude. Doesn’t cry (knock on wood), just complains a bit to suck on his mama’s teet. Since he’s breast fed I don’t have much work during nights, but it's already pretty rough. Once the wife starts working again I’ll be chipping in more. He unleashes mammoth farts that make you cringe “Geez that must have hurt!”. I’ll post a pic in the Kelly sucks donkey balls thread. |

After the Ballon D'or the Bidone D'Orro has also been decided: Ricardo Quaresma of Inter.

According to a poll in FIFA's website this is the best 11 of 2008
![]() I don't really agree with it. There are no real forwards in the lineup, at least Torres should be in there in place of either Kaka or Ribery. |

Except for Ramos and Casillas, I dissagree with the defense as a whole.
