new coach; no clear QB; first round draft pick who may be a bust; bad cap situation; and coming off a season where we tanked in spectacular fashion and squandered a clear route to the playoffs. but no - really - this is a very important issue about seat colors that you have brought up.

The question is why he put Walt Micheals in it. Obviously SAR was a Giant fan back then.
The seats are going to be grey.
Yeah, I emailed Randy Lange at NY JETS.com last winter when the stadium started being built. I asked him about the seat color now that the stadium is being built for two teams.

He responded that they will be shades of Grey

I agree. Walt Michaels could coach my team any day. He was one tough SOB, and he had an eye for talent. IMO, the Jets floundered in the wilderness from the day he was fired until the day Parcells came on board.

Which will work for both teams. There was an idea being tossed around that both the NY Jets & Giants might be considering giving the new PSL/Season ticket holders team colored seat covers with their section number on it.

This way on a NY Jets game day all the seats will look green & white (when someone gets up 4 a beer/bathroom break) and the same for Gint fans in blue & white. Not a bad idea and it would certainly make the new stadium look "very Jetsy" on home game days to the television viewing audience. ;)
